Sigma/Zeta Relations
Phi Beta Sigma and Zeta Phi Beta are constitutionally bound — one relationship, two organizations. Sigma/Zeta Relations is the chapter’s work of keeping that relationship living and local.

What Sigma/Zeta Relations Focuses On
The bond between our two organizations is written into how they were founded. Here's how the chapter thinks about carrying it out in Collin County.
A Constitutional Bond
Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. are the only constitutionally bound fraternity and sorority among the Divine Nine. Sigma-Zeta Relations is how that bond is kept active at the chapter level rather than left on paper.
Joint Programming
Founders Day observances, service projects, and social events planned and hosted together — so that Sigmas and Zetas in Collin County are working from one calendar wherever it makes sense to.
Staying in Step
Keeping open lines with the Zeta chapters closest to us, so that an invitation, a need, or a chance to serve reaches the right people quickly instead of by accident.
Side by Side in Collin County
Our closest partnership is with the sorors of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.'s Delta Alpha Alpha Zeta Chapter in Allen, and the work we have done together is the clearest picture of what this program is for.

Holiday Toy Drive
Our sorors in Allen partnered with us on the Holiday Toy Drive, raising money and donating toys to children in our community — a joint effort that put more gifts under more trees than either chapter would have managed alone.
See Our EventsOur Bow Ties & Pearls celebration brings brothers and sorors together to mark our shared founding season — the kind of occasion where the constitutional bond stops being a phrase and starts being a room full of people.
Bro. Steve Jyles
As our chapter’s Director of Sigma-Zeta Relations, Bro. Steve Jyles keeps Tau Zeta Sigma in step with our Zeta sorors — coordinating joint programming and making sure invitations travel in both directions.
Beyond the Toy Drive and our joint Founders Day celebration, the rest of our Sigma/Zeta calendar — service projects, additional joint events, and work with other Zeta chapters across the area — is still being built out. Details will be posted here as they are set.
